Welcome to Angela and Po’s wedding website! Here you will find all the details and helpful advice for our wedding celebration in Taiwan taking place November 29, 2025 at Le Méridien Taipei. While we legally got married in 2021 in New York City during the pandemic, we are so excited to finally share a weekend with our closest friends and family coming from across the world to celebrate the union of our two families.

Most international flights will come through Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE). Some limited international flights if you’re traveling from a closer Asian country may come through Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA). TPE (Taoyuan) is located about 25 miles southwest of Taipei, so you will likely have to take a taxi, or there is a dedicated MRT (subway) line that will take you into the Taipei city center. TSA (Songshan) is located within the city, north of Taipei’s center.
Uber is available in Taiwan, and conveniently the app in English will work! Uber and taxi fares generally are quite affordable compared to the US, but the MRT (subway) will be cheaper and might be faster where there is traffic. Signage in the MRT will include English and Google/Apple Maps provides accurate public transportation directions. There are six main subway lines (named by color). The wedding venue is a short walk away from the Taipei City Hall stop on the Blue line.
We have reserved a block of hotel rooms at our venue for our guests. Please contact hotel agent Lily Chao for the discounted rate.
What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by October 29.
What is the dress code?
Semi-formal or Dressy Casual is recommended, but not required.
What kind of food will be served?
Guests will be served Taiwan style banquet food in a multiple course format shared with other guests sitting at your table. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
What is the address of the wedding venue?
Our venue’s address is No. 38, Songren Rd, Xinyi District, Taipei City, 110. You can view this link to view the location in Google Maps. If you are driving and do not read Chinese, we recommend using Apple Maps as they will provide the English names of streets (Google Maps does not, even though Taiwan street signage almost always includes English translations). If you’re taking the Taipei metro (subway), the hotel is a short walk away from the Taipei City Hall station off the blue line. Once you arrive, please follow signage to take the elevator to the 5th floor, where the ceremony will take place.
Will there be parking?
For guests who are driving, there will be free on-site parking in the hotel’s underground garage.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors, but in the event of rain, will be moved indoors. The cocktail hour and reception will be held at the same hotel venue as the ceremony, indoors.
Do you have a registry?
We will not have a gift registry nor are gifts expected. Our greatest gift would be your presence and we appreciate the time and resources spent to travel from far away!
What will the weather be like?
Taipei in late November will be pleasantly cool with average temperatures around 73 degrees Fahrenheit, and lows around 64 degrees Fahrenheit, with a chance of occasional rain. Humidity will be lower than the summer months.
Are plus ones and kids invited?
Yes! Please indicate plus ones and attending children in your RSVP.
